Weekend

I think it'd be fun to write this like it's some sort of food 4 less book aisle classic:

I spent this past weekend on the Amalfi Coast. The bus ride was six grueling hours of listening to mashed up conversations of young women desperate for male attention and young men hiding their homosexuality... along with watching Superbad and sleeping.
As we got nearer to the hotel, I looked out the window and was amazed by the scenery. We were driving on the side of a cliff overlooking the small oceanside towns. I saw a Carnival cruise ship that reminded me of the 2 summers my parents decided that cruises were the perfect type of vacation before totally rejecting them a year later after finding out that the employees are basically slaves...
anyway, we arrived at the hotel around 1:40 am. Got the keys, roomed with amy and jocelyne, took a short shower and went to bed. The next morning is when the sickness really hit me. I woke up feeling as if I had just ran a marathon. Exhausted and weak, I went to eat a breakfast of one croussant, coffee and orange juice. We walked down to the city and caught our ferry to the island of Capri. Here, we took a boat tour where we were shown rocks shaped as elephants and homes of celebrities. Sadly, it was enough to impress me. I apprehensively spent ten euro on a five minute tour of the blue caves where the money ended up being well worth the view. The boat went under the caves that were glowing blue. It was like something out of a story book. The rest of the tour I spent trying to keep warm and interested...
Went back to shore and I layed on the beach while amy and Yanya got drunk and swam. Probably wasn't safe, but at the time not much was on my mind. We went lemon cello and chocolate tasting, it was yummy. The tasting made Amy even more drunk, so I took care of her while we walked back to the meeting point. We went back to the hotel, showered, and went to dinner, five courses, unlimited red wine, drunk amy, good coversation. Everyone went out except for me because, well, I felt like I would die if I stood up. The next day we went to Positano. It was a forty-five minute bus ride to the shore where we took another boat tour. This one was much more entertaining. The driver put on some music and drove us to the cliffs where he told us all that we could jump. My first thoughts were " no no no." But one by one as my friends returned from the jump, I felt the need not to miss out. In my dillerium caused by the fever, I shed my clothes and jumped off the boat. It must have been the mixture of peer pressure, high fever, and lady gaga jams that made me do it, but I did. I jumped off the forty five foot cliff into the crystal blue water. It was just okay...
Our next stop on the tour took us to the caves where I also swam through. It was fun but a little more cold since it was inside the cave... you know. The boat took us back to shore where we had free time which I spent trying to recover and remain warm. We walked back to the meeting point and took the bus back to the hotel. We showered, I napped, and then we went to dinner. I went to bed early with the help of Natalie's tylenol pm. The next and last morning, we went to Pompeii. It was interesting. I was disappointed to see that many of it was renovated but always got excited when I saw things that were still in their original state. Natalie got lost in Pompeii and so we had to unsuccessfully try to find her. We ended up meeting her at the end of the tour so it was all okay. We went home via bus, and I knocked out. I am currently still battleing my fever. It's on and off but I've just been so "go go go" lately that I haven't had proper rest time. I think once this weekend hits, I'll be good to go again.

Til the next time I feel the need to share,

Steff

Part 2?

Bottom to Top:
Photo 6: Some of his heels. The rhinestones are out of control.
Photo 7: Me wearing a 8000 Euro jacket. Cruella DeVille chic hahah (I had too much fun with some of these designs)
Photo 8: Armani window display. Gorgeous.

You may now go back and try to make up for the wasted time you spent reading this.

Fashion is my hobby.

Went to the Ferragamo shoe museum yesterday. Fell head over heels (hahah!?).
Going From Bottom to Top:
Photo 1: A design made for Audrey Hepburn. If it doesn't scream Audrey, I don't know what does. I almost fell over.
Photo 2: Marilyn rhinestone shoes. If anyone did red right, it was definitely her. Sassy.
Photo 3: These are just out of control. Kind of have that original vintage look. I absolutely love.
Photo 4: Black and white is one of my favorite color palettes. I can't help but love everything about this.
Photo 5: These are so specific and I absolutely am in love with them. The perfect secretary chic shoe.

PS:

you're taking my blog for granted. I need some feedback. This is good shit. Or it's not.

Surprise, Surprise how do you like me now?

Sitting here in my room looking over the UC prompts, so not ready to start this process again...
but what can you do??
Haven't written in a little while. Been exploring the city a little more. Falling more in love, you know how it is...
I use the ellipsis too much don't I? Okay soooo I'm getting really sick of being around the female gender. It's driving me insane. Except Thip, she just gave me a 3d hello kitty sticker so she's fine, for now hahah
I've decided that my other apartment mate, Apolonia, is a psycho bitch who has too much money and might kill us all in our sleep. She's the type that would cut my skin off and wear it, ya know?
I spent the night at Josie and Amy's house a few days ago, had to get away (plus too drunk to walk all the way home)...
I think I found the gay bar! (horrayyyy) So I can finally be with my gays again.
Also, I need to go shopping. I dream about it, I obsess about it, I can't get over it. I think I have a bigger problem then previously thought of. Going to H&M this weekend for sure.
Window displays here are pieces of art in themselves, might post a photo of a new one each day.
Also, going to Ferragamo Shoe Museum on Sunday and Derek is having a little wine and cheese afterparty on his terrace, what a chic professor! <3
Still haven't given "Daisy" a listening. This internet sucks. Listening to new Mayday right now though. Not impressed yet. I'm scared it won't be. I'm going to shower and stuff, but before then, a little photo. Is there a carousal in front of your school? Didn't think so ! Also photographed, The Arno on a rainy day.

Never been called Mellow Yellow

Past few days have been so much fun. Went to Fiesole yesterday. Everyone was hung over from the night before, but it was still fun and so gorgeous. We went to 2 museums with really bad collections. "I hate the ruins". Me and Amy traded cameras when we continued to take hundreds of pictures of each other climbing on walls that jesus sat on. So don't be surprised if I act a lot more enlightened than you the next time we see each other. It's only because I am...
Had dinner at Fiesole and went on a mini-hike up to see the beautiful view where I got bitten about twenty times (mosquitos). I think every great view has a price though.
Going out has been so fun but some of these girls worry me due to their inability to control themselves. It's sad.
Actually, people on this trip are beginning to weird me out. I can't tell if they're trying to be my friend or enemy, most of them are both...
I think I'm going to write down some of the stuff people have been saying just because it makes me laugh when I hear it:
Amber: "are you an only child? Because you act like one"
Amber: "You curse a lot, but it's the good kind of cursing, it's so real"
Eleanor: "You remind me of my friend Stephanie"...
Alex: "Do you like me?" Me: "No." Alex: "oh um.." Me: "wait, was that bad?"
Apol (like the fruit): "You intimidate me. It must be amazing to have that sort of power over people"
Apol: "Honestly, I think you're the prettiest on this trip as far as dressing, body type, and face go"
Allie: "I like you because you like vodka"
Apol: "you hate me, huh?"
Thip: "you don't look mexican"
John: "I've got golden silk sheets....Wanna see them?"
It's been lively...

been having dreams of being at shows. Must be a side effect of show withdrawel.
